Arounder Sydney by Guest Photographer Aaron SpenceBuying an SLR camera in highschool during the late 80’s kicked off Aaron’s love for and career in photography. His plummeting grades from a straight A student to a B minus student are testament to the all consuming passion he soon gained for photography. He entered the digital age of photography in 1996 with Photoshop 3.0.5 and a Nikon Coolscan II film scanner. In 2000 after years of computer based design, web, cd-rom, audio, video & photography he finally found the perfect blend of photography & computer imaging…..the 360 degree panoramic virtual tour. Since that time, he’s continued working across many fields of digital multimedia while specializing in the shooting and production of panoramic virtual tours.
Over the past few years Aaron has done extensive research and development into panoramic photography workflows & systems for batch processing extremely high quality georeferenced panoramic imagery. The fruit of these years of labour is his Panedia project, containing thousands of panoramas from all over Australia.
